  • The Good Food Box has 7-9 different fruits and vegetables each week! The fruits and vegetables change, but you can expect staples like potatoes, carrots, onions, apples, oranges, and bananas often.

  • Unfortunately, no. Buying the same produce for all the boxes is what helps us get great prices on fresh fruits and vegetables so we can’t do special orders. If you have suggestions for things you would like to see in the box, though, please let us know!

  • Yes! The Good Food Box is open to everyone regardless of income. Think of us like a ‘group buying’ club. The more people who order the more produce we can afford and the more value we can provide in each box. The Good Food box is a great option for families who like a bit of a variety, seniors who might have some trouble getting to grocery store and busy individuals who have limited time to shop!

  • Good Food Box orders are non-refundable. You are welcome to send someone to pick up your bag on your behalf. However - if you miss picking up your Good Food Box on your designated day and location, rest assured that it will find a good home. All boxes that are not picked up on time are donated to ensure that the food is used while it is still fresh and tasty.

  • We offer limited local delivery within Nanaimo and Parksville.

  • We work with a locally owned produce distributor for most of the fresh fruits and vegetables in the Good Food Box. They provide us with a shortlist of good deals and local products. We also work with local farms to source high quality fruits and vegetables that may have some minor imperfections.

  • Yes! The Good Food Box is available every Thursday, however orders must be placed by Tuesday at midnight on the week before you receive the box.
